"Hello, Dolly!" Producer
Ernest Lehman, the six-time Academy Award nominee, passed away on July 2, 2005. Lehman's credits for producing and/or screenwriting include such blockbusters as Hitchcock's North by Northwest, The Sound of Music, and West Side Story.

Streisand fans will long remember Lehman as the man who cast her in his film production of, Hello, Dolly!. Lehman was 89 and resided in Los Angeles.
