HDNet to Air Complete Version of "Streisand Live In Concert"
(Feb 9) - Barbra Streisand's concert performance from 2006, "Streisand Live in Concert," will get a special holiday showing this Valentine's Day on HDNet.

This will be the first time Barbra's complete performance will air. CBS first broadcast a 1-hour edited version of the show last April that was the ratings champ for its time slot. The special recently won an Emmy in the category of Outstanding Musical Direction (Bill Ross).

HDNet tells us that this will definitely not be the CBS edited version of the program. This time around, "Streisand Live In Concert" will air in its entirety, a broadcast first, and with limited commercial interruption. The running time for the HDNet broadcast will be 1 hour and 46 minutes.

Fans of the Streisand special will once again be able to enjoy the broadcast in high definition. HDNet, available on a number of cable and satellite providers (such as DirecTV, Dish Network, Comcast, Verison FIOS, among others) broadcasts all of its programming exclusively in hi-def.

The last Streisand TV special to be shown on Valentine's Day was the Fox broadcast of "Timeless" back in 2001.
